Any information in your correspondence of which models?  Curious if the EXP only is a consistent message.

I am waiting to make my purchase. I live next door to the world dealer expo in Indy (Feb. 19). I will speak directly to the Rekluse folks (they have given good deals in the past). Sounds like they are pushing out the date of the Core EXP...no problem..heck, all of Indiana is shut down for the moment.
They mentioned the Core EXP and and brand new model called EXP (less expensive) for the 350.

I was told the Core EXP would be available this week. They will not be offering the z-start pro for the 350SX. Sounds like the Core EXP has less "free wheeling"...
Really? Not on my 450 SXF it hasn´t. The eng. brake is the same as with stock clutch. You may lessen it by going up in idle speed but the difference is marginal at best.

yeh the rep told me that it was the core exp they were bringing out they said they were not making the z start pro for the 350. Anybody know of prices yet for the 350 core exp? I have emailed the rep no reply yet.

Looks great.  Most of the stuff makes sense but the rotors.  What was wrong with the OEM rotors and why do you consider the braking ones to be an upgrade?

Stock rotors are definitely excellent. Since I was building a complete set of extra wheels I needed a new set rotors as well . So since my friend knows the distributor for Braking USA he got me the rotors for less than the cost of the stockers.

I emailed SDi about their lowering link.  The link is 2.5mm longer and will lower the bike about 12mm.

FYI to those that want to know.  For whatever reason none of the documentation online anywhere states that.

http://www.midwestme...es/product.html

This is one of the rare products that really work as advertised - if you want a light clutch pull on the 350SXF this is the only way. Almost as light as on the current KTM/Husaberg 2-strokes!

Cons:

.) it takes some time to adjust and get used to, but if you like a one finger clutch it works great.

.) actuation point becomes a little "wide" (it is clever engineering, but can't bent the laws of physics) which takes some adjusting on immediate actions like lifting the front wheel.

.) the lever is extremely sturdy - if something hits, the master cylinder will give (possibly even the handlebar ) before this lever breaks!

Overall it is a 9.5 out of 10 - this and a good mapping means major single track fun

I wrote that already in the other post:

http://www.thumperta...02&postcount=31

Apart from the fact that the Magura Blood had already started to dissolve the o-ring in the Brembo slave, the MME lever has a CONSIDERABLY lighter pull than even the Magura 9.0. It is cheaper also and less work to install. Easy choice for me.

I just don't like the lever length. I pulled on a 250F clutch and want one for my bike. It was lkike butter compared to the 350.

I think that has to do with the slutch springs and not the clutch master/lever.

I wonder what the effect would be if different springs were used.

Always a trade off with clamping force and lever pull.

I've been holding out on you guys...

Had this bit of info in my file of researched items:

If a lighter clutch pull is needed, consider springs from a 125, which used 5 of these:
50332005000  CLUTCH SPRING 2,3X39,5 125'98 compared to the 350 using 6 of these: 52332005000  CLUTCH SPRING 2,4X40 200'98

I'm not sure they will fit, but it was the nearest, smaller size, I could find in the KTM parts books.

I suspect ith may work, though we'll have to see if it is too little force on the plates, which may mean it might slip. Need to test it!
