Cracked Case!!!

I sanpped my chain on my 2004 wr 450 and put a crack in the case, it isnt too big. You guys have any reccomdations for a quick easy cheap fix or do i need to get a whole new case?

I fixed a cracked case with JB Weld and it's held up pretty good. You just have to make sure you clean it really good.

Put a small crack in my ignition/case cover, and repaired it with JB weld. Its held up for three years now. I sanded it smooth and threw some spray paint on the case cover, and you can't even tell it is there.

+1 on JB weld :excuseme:

I had a buddy that used in for a small crack about 3 years ago and to date its going strong.

I don't think I'd say its a bulletproof permanent solution but I'd most definatly give it a try
