Has anyone put the YZ426F on a dyno? I ordered one this week and would like to see a compairison of torque to horse power.
I am a 2 stroke rider of 30 years. I would like to know if short shifting like we did with the old open bikes is the way to go? Do the fast guys use the clutch alot? Where is the heart of the power band?

I had a dyno chart once....don't know what happened to it. I think it was w White Brothers dyno run. They recorded a peak HP of slightly over 48 on a stock '00 426. I don't recall the torque measurement. The 426 makes peak HP in the ~9000 RPM range. After that, power drops off gradually.
