I've had no issues shaking the magic 8 ball, but it might not be a bad idea for whomever may want it to PM the last person to ask in this thread, kind of a pay it back type program.
But I'm reasonably sure if you PM anyone in this thread, he'll have it.

Fudge! Need some quick advice, should I send this manual to someone who's signature reads:

PDF OEM service manuals emailed to you. $15 ea. KTM DUCATI YAMAHA SUZUKI KAWASAKI HONDA. Pm me for details.
Or should I tell him "That'll be $15 please"
or should I tell him to stick his PDF manuals where the sun don't shine?

I vote for a collective Option B. I got the PM asking that as well. Here's my response:

I'm sorry, but I'm refusing to send you the manual. Many others will be the same
Why? WE DON'T CHARGE FOR THE SERVICE. Here's the EXACT email I send with every manual

Here's a DRZ125 manual. When BeamishNZ was distributing this, he requested a small donation to World Vision, but you can make a donation to the Blue Ribbon Coalition affiliated club if you wish, or just pay it forward!

I can't abide by someone profiting by something like this. If you want to charge for it, scan your own. The DRZ forum will be here, giving away copies of the manual for free

Actually, I think I'm gonna send him an invoice for $1500, which in the unlikely event he pays, I will forward to the Wounded Warrior project, less pay pal fees, after the 90 day dispute period expires (otherwise he could screw me over if I give the money to them and he then disputes it - pay pal disputes are a PITA.)

When he balks, I'm gonna tell him "sorry man, nobody makes a dime off me without paying me for it and you're not going to make money off of my generosity. If you really do need the manual to fix your bike, now you know how it feels when someone is trying to make a buck off of you for something he put zero work into and costs him nothing. I believe these manuals should be available to the public from the manufacturers at no charge in electronic form. Yamaha of Australia agrees with me. I hope to see the other manufacturers publish these under the same spirit of community."
In reality, I do pay a small amount (three US cents a month?) to store the manual, but I would never consider charging someone for something that should be available at no charge from the manufacturers in electronic form. I can however, understand why they'd charge for the printed version.

I'm confused. Do you want a donation or something? I really need the manual and I'm willing to pay you for it. What's it gonna take to get the manual from you?
Thanks.

And got this:
Was this to "Kalashnikov"?

Because when Beamish first went off-line, I used to include a note about how he used to do it and that when he came back, I would like the person to honor his request for a donation to World Vision. However, after a few months with him being gone, I stopped including the note and just sent the PDF.

Yes, that was.
I originally planned on sending out a note requesting that they donate to World Vision, but I started working with a local BRC Affiliated club and figured we could give to something that affects us all directly. Any proper charitable donation would really please me, I'm also a fan of helping people who need it regardless of charity or thanks. There's a reason why there's a toolbox and safety vest in my truck!

He sent me a message again stating he didn't receive the manual. My reply:

Sorry man, you're not getting the manual from me. I noticed your signature stating you sell manuals, which you didn't write, cost you nothing to obtain and nothing to distribute. I distribute manuals to people who want it out of a spirit of community. And in the event you really do need this manual to fix your bike, now you know what it feels like to have someone try and make a buck off of your misfortune.

Have a nice day.

What year DRZ do you have and what troubles are you having?

Merci !

Guys, I know you want that which resembles a DRZ125 Service Manual, but PLEASE READ THE FIRST POST OF THE THREAD, then PM someone on the thread (Except Beamish, he's unfortunately MIA and possibly banned) following the instructions! We'll all be more than happy to help you! Also, only PM one person at a time. Give them time to respond, sometimes people will take short unannounced forum breaks.

I'd also like to remind everyone that this is a volunteer service that we at the DRZ125 forum provide. If you're rude, you could tick someone off so they don't want to do it anymore. If you're selling the object resembling manual, and believe me when I say that I WILL FIND OUT, I will post here, and wherever you're selling the object, shame the living :censored: out of you and recommend you to the TT mods for a PERMABAN! :prof:

With all that being said, I'm still willing to help anyone who wants The Object! :applause:

The weather in Northern Calif. has been beautiful and was perfect last weekend for some great singletrack riding with my sons.
