Heard thru the grapevine, from my cousin neighbor, bestfriend, sisters, Boss, that he read it in some rag that the Honda CRF 250 will not be released until Jan 2004.

Honda is a WUSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kidding aside, they have a LARGE opponent to fight (YZ250F).
Hondas very SMART for not releasing it until it can Beat the Blue Monster.

They waited for 4 years to bring the 450 out, and it blew the Blue bike away.

Now there waiting for 3 years to compete with the 250F .

But I did hear, Jan 2004

I asked a guy at the dealership yesterday and he said that he was just told November....of course the Dealership guys most of the time don't have the right information...they usually tell you a little early to keep you coming back...

Crf 450's outnumber yz 450f like 4 to 1 at the track smart guy. Did you ever think about the fact that the yz 250f's are so great because nobody else has been making 250 4 stroke.

yeah, it kicks assssssssssss compared to what. How many 250 4-strokes have you ridden. I know there's a lot of them to pick from right now , but you better believe when the CRF250 does come out, there will be nothing close to it .

Four years it took Honda to bring out a bike to compete with the YZF's. That's with the Honda engineer's disecting the YZF's part by part.

I can't get over how many nuts frequent this site. Being new to owning a 4 stroke, I first came here to get some good info on my new ride and found TT to be a great resource. However, the more posts I read the more totally blown away I am by people's ridiculous blind brand loyalty. It's as if they are completely ignorant to everything but the color of their plastic and what their favorite riders are using. This guy who started this post is a perfect example of one of these fools. Is his life so pathetic that he needs the satisfaction of knowing he owns the best bike? Honda's scared???? who gives a crap. I spend most of my time on the blue side because I ride a YZF and we have our share of these nuts. But some of these Honda guys take the cake. They really think the new CRF is going to blow everything else away before anyone has ever thrown a leg over one. You've got to be kidding me. These are the same people that blame everything on their bike and equipment when they put in a bad moto. Could it be that they might actually suck? ALL of these new bikes absolutely rip!!! The differences are so slight that a good rider can win on any of them. I would be happy to own any of them. I'm just glad I own a YZF, not because I'm claiming its the best but because it's my personal favorite. People just ride what you like and shut up.

Ripper, I honor your brand loyalty. I've seen my Racing video from my OTHG Southern National at Glen Helen I'd rather believe I'm faster that I look, but the video doesn't lie . I do sport actual racing #'s from two Racing clubs (Over The HIll Gang-Intermiedate #112 & LAOTMX- Expert). Personally a video will never compare, to that of 40 riders lining up, with only enought space for 5 bikes at the end of the first turn.
Your avator looks sweet, I can't even touch my toes much less do a heel clicker, props to you.

Now back to the subject,
90% of the inquiry about the CRF250 is from the Blue side. Whether we are looking to change colors or wanting a better bike. Yamaha needs Honda to distribute there product. Yamaha is still holding their Ace, and until Honda enters the ring, we the John Q public have to wait for the Ace to be played.

BTW, I race twice a month with the OTHG club, I'll take on all comers, won't be the first time I've lost or won.

It's not the Bike, It's ALL RIDER.
