Very nice. Do you know what the reason was for the previous owner to sell?

For the sound I think it doesn´t need packing yet. Previous owner is a yamaha dealer owner, I wanted a new one but it was a lot of money for me (new Yz450 is 15.700 us dollars over here and we need 4 pesos to get 1 us dollar, so this bike cost more money than my car)

Yep after I buy my new bike I plan on getting a 1500-2000 dollar truck when I have money again. When I was 16 i bought my bike for 2850, and managed to snag a car for just 1 dollar. Shows my priorities right there.

+1 :p Thats what I'm talking about. "Heck with what your vehicle looks like".

As long as it gets you to point A and point B thats all it matters. I'm like you!

I dont care what I drive as long as I got a good dirtbike.

Thats a bunch of BS!... I was at my friends shop the other day and he had a 11 450 and 11 250 2-stroke on the showroom floor.

The 2-stroke was $7140.00 which was a thousand less than the 450.

That's crazy!. I told him I remembered when I bought my 05 YZ 250 2-stroke off of him new for I believe $5200.00. I bought a 125 off of him in 03 for $3800.00.

In 06 I bought a 450 off him for $6200.00 and last year a 2010 450 for right at $8000.00. His 2011 450 is $8140.00 a thousand more than the 250 smoker.

They just keep going up and up.

Having a little trouble fitting in here?

You don't really have any idea how much Brent spent on his truck or what kind it was, and I'm pretty sure you don't know that much about the Argentinian economy, exchange rate, or trade policies.

To be an owner of this kind of bike, here you have to be almost reach. I´m not saying that I´m reach, but I earn way more money than the average salary.

lol, have you seen my truck???

It's a 1994 GMC 2500 short box extended cab.
It was red, but was painted a matt grey primer by the previous owner.
It's rear wheel drive with no posi traction
It has 3 missing hub caps
It has a cab window that is held in by a bungee cable that is hooked into the rear seat middle seat belt loop.
It has 330 000 KM's
It has a starter motor with a bad solonoid that sometimes doesn't trip
Engine runs good, chasis is tight and it gets around 17mpg which is good for a truck it's age.

From the looks of those houses on the other side of the street you could almost run across the top of them like a set of whoops. :p

The cookie cutter houses BARELY meet fire code for proper spacing lol, yes you probably could do some nice jumps on top of the garages there! Mind you the bike would probably fall right through the roof, but seriously this sounds like a great thing for jhonny knoxville to try!

Is the air filter as much of a pain in the butt to change/clean as i have heard and read ?

Who says it's a pain?

  • brentn

6 bolts, not really a pain at all.

I leave the gas tank wire support wrapped around the subframe under the seat so no matter where the bike goes the tank can stand up suspended.
Consider the fact guys that the air filter doesn't get dirty near as quickly as one under the seat, the extra 4 bolts outweighs the benefit.
I found that my air filter gets about 6 hours before it starts to even look dirty, where as my old yz250 would go about 3 for the same amount of dirtyness.
