What's a good price for a 2010?

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking about picking up a left over 2010. My local yamaha shop, which is a joke, has one and is selling it for $7350. They still have a couple 08's they still want over $6000 for. Needless to say I am not buying a bike from there. I'm wondering what a good price is for a left over. Anyone buy one recently?

I paid 8200 out the door for mine mid sept, that was the best deal I could find in the province.

I think alot of dealers are not so interested in discounting 10 models cause they're not much different from 11's. It was quite a different story for 09's however.

Yeah I am trying to get a new bike for a decent price, it is turning out to be a bit harder than expected. best deal i have found was right weeks before the '11 came out for 7099. I might call that guy back and try and get him to throw the tuner in and give me a bit better deal. I can get a '11 for 7600 shipped, not sure what to do just yet.

you would be paying 501 bucks for a clutch actuator arm

Don't forget .2 gallons of fuel too! lol.

Anyways I am trying to make various contacts and get the 2010 for a bit less.

Anyone else do a bit of long distance riding on their new 450? I am concerned with not having enough fuel. I do a lot of hill climbing and desert riding, and sometimes we will take a lunch and go all day on a big loop. How much extra fuel will i need. In the past my 250 two stroke, with a 2.4 gal i think, usually ran out and i would carry a gallon of gas that i used most of on the longer days. But I also had the thing screaming a lot of the ride.

Try Montgomeryville Cycle Center in Pa. I've bought my last two bikes there and have saved about grand on each over the dealerships in New Jersey. Last I heard he had some 2010's he was selling for around 6k.

Prices are really low right now, just contacted a bunch of dealers. You should be able to talk your way into a deal right at around 6k for a 2010, either color. I'm looking at multiple retailers close to 6200 including their fees. one is out of state, and the other is 6248 including the 2.9% tax I would be paying. Just thought I would share, haven't decided on a vendor just yet, still think one needs to do something for me to pick them over the other.

Average Dealer Cost is only bout a grand under retail so finding a bike for a deal is where stock is way over , and the dealer is feeling desperate > try and find out how many are not on the floor , then maybe you can play a little if he sitting on a bunch of stock
