Just got my old man a 2004 YF450F in decent shape but want to do a tune up first. Never had a Yamaha, what should I do to service it? He will just trail ride it. I got a sparkplug, engine oil + filter and crushwasher, transmission oil and crushwasher, new grips and airfilter oil (air filter is still decent). I know in my CRF450X I run extra oil in the transmission side; any tips like that for the YZF? Anything I should pay attention to? Will check valves also.

Thanks for ideas!
