I've got a couple 97 Tigersharks. They've been a blast to ride. Little 2 stroke 2 seaters that I picked up from a buddy about 3 years ago for a deal.
He was "upgrading" to big new 3 seat Kawasakis and I got lucky. The sad thing is he's regretted the upgrade ever since. Gas costs him twice as much, and he's not having any more fun than with the Tigersharks. Although they tame the big waves much better and have a much higher top speed, it's really cost him in gas. Also somebody damaged the drive unitone one Kawi and caused it to sink!
Anyway, my point is you can get the older smaller 2 seaters for dirt cheap and have just as much fun zipping around & pulling tubes as with anything else. There's a lot of good older PWCs that never were ridden hard and don't have a lot of wear on them, even though they are "old" in years.
