Is it ok to ride ATV's on the logging roads up in the CF, or does one need to stay on the actual trails?

I guess I'll answer my own question. I called DNR this morning and learned it is OK to ride on the logging roads up in the CF. Furthermore, the logging roads ARE NOT part of the seasonal closures that apply to the trails. The trails close Nov 30th, not Oct 31 as stated on some pages of the Capitol Forest web page.
