Octopussed ? De-octopussed ?

Can someone tell me what Octopussed means in reference to the WR and, what are the benefits of having my scoot de-octopussed?
Did the ’00 WR’s even come with octopuses? (Or is it octopi)

I did start with the archive but searched “Octopussed”. Searching “Octopus” gave me the posts to answer my questions. Thanks Kevin.
