TT owners,  If not possible already, when will TT support a mobile app like Tapatalk? http://www.tapatalk.com/

It's a 100 times easier to visit an online forum using something like Tapatalk, than using a tiny web browser screen on a mobile phone.

That would be pretty sweet, when I try and browse here on the iphone it's incredibly slow because there's so much content to load up.

I'm never on TT on my computer.  I always use my touch, and it does get annoying sometimes.  Tapatalk is perfect because it already supports any vBulletin forum, such as TT, so they wouldn't have to do anything besides install the plug-in

Its not that there are any problems, it just does weird things that get annoying, like I'll be typing and all of the sudden the screen will jump back and I am no longer typing.  Idk how to explain it, it just lags a little sometimes.

But most of the time it's pretty good.  I just get annoyed when I have to zoom way in to click on something really small, and hard to hit it exactly

There is that old saying "You don't know what you don't know".  TT in a mini web browser (like Safari on my iPhone) is just horrendously time inefficient.  Tapatalk is easy.  It's a bit like riding on mediocre suspension and thinking it's great - that is, until you get to use the good stuff.

I'v used tapatalk and it works well, but maybe its my phone (droid x) but I fly around this web site with no odd loading blips, and no problem posting. Its nice to see the page I'm used to navigating, especially when I can do it as fast and efficiently on my phone as  on my laptop. To each his own though...

Edit:   That siad, you wouldn't hear me complaining if it made it even faster by eliminating the advertisements.

Have you thought of joining team TT?

Team TT is completely voluntary and nobody is required to join to enjoy ThumperTalk. This site is and will remain free of charge for those that want to read, ask good questions and provide good answers in return.

*Team TT Benefits Include

- No banner ads = faster page loads
- Access to private members only forum
- Ability to upload photos and attachments directly to the forum
- Much, much larger private message inbox
- Ability to create polls
- Special avatar so everyone knows you're a Team TT member
- Double the file size on your personal avatar. It's still limited to 80x80, but the files size can be up to 20k instead of the normal 10k

I would gladly pay a reasonable TT fee if that meant I could use Tapatalk with TT, or something very much like Tapatalk. But none of those current team TT advantages are appealing to me.

+1 on the droid. TT is amazingly better since ditching the blackberry.

Tapatalk RULES on the iPhone!!! PLEASE implement it, it's free to forums! And WELL worth the $3 it costs to buy the full version! You can get the read only version free in the iTunes app store but I strongly suggest getting the full version.... If you are using a smart phone to browse here you really dont know what you are missing, this app has saved me HOURS on forums...........

Not only does it make it quick and easy to navigate various forums using one familiar interface, but Tapatalk 100% bypasses ads. So TT perhaps will need to charge us a fee to stop a loss in advertising revenue (proportional to regular site hits). Technically, TT could enable support for Tapatalk in days or hours. Just a question of what fee, or bundling Tapatalk support into the Team TT package.

Just got an Android and tried out the Tapatalk demo. Much nicer than using a browser. I'd vote for that plus the .mobi version.
