What is the stock pring rate for the 01 YZ426. I read in one of the mags they were .46 and 5.4. I tried to find it in the manual no luck. I next check of the tuners sites. They claimed .47 and 5.4 for the '00 YZ426.

I can only tell you that from what I have read all YZ426's have .46 & 5.4 I took a big chance here, one mag. said Yamaha part #5GR-23141-00 was a .47 the guys at my Yamaha didn't even know! Anyway I bought them ($50ea) & they seem to be stiffer. I won't know for sure till I sort out my seal problem & go to an outdoor track. These indoor tracks are too tight for big jumps!

Hey guys, I can't comment on the 01 manual listing the spring rates, but my 00 manual list them in the maint specs section under chassis as fork= .46kg/mm and shock= 5.4kg/mm
MXA's report on the 01 lists the same specs on the newer 426 also. Hope this helps.

Thanks dirtdad,

They are in the same place in the 01 manual. I missed them when I looked.

.46 and 5.4 for the 01 too.
