I placed an order on on 6 Sept 10, today is the 16 Sept 10 and my order is still pending! Last time I order from the TT store.

Its now 21-Sep-10 and my order is STILL pending. I want to cancel my order but it won’t let me. Its been to long already and I’m done. What can be done about this?

Make sure you order your tyres from there as well !! You either use bike shops in Australia, or you dont. You decide !!!! You cant have it both ways.

I've used https://www.zanottimotor.com a few times the past few months and the service has been outstanding and definately one of the cheapest I've seen. http://www.twincountymotorsports.com is another one that has really cheap prices but i havent ordered from them yet so can't speak of their customer service.

if your looking for aftermarket brands i found rockymountainmc.com is a good place. they have their own Tusk brand that is cheap and i have found their parts to be very good.

Yeah I know the importance of supporting the local dealer but my nearest bike shop is 1hr away & closest yamaha dealer over 2hrs away,& I can pretty much guarantee neither would have the parts I want,so why not cut out the middle man.

Plus with the way the aussie dollar is at the moment you cant say its not tempting to buy from the U.S.

I'd assume we're in the same situation here in Canada, I just bought a new Shoei VFX-W out of the US for $349.99 shipped (within the US) & the exact same helmet here is $550. I'm all for buying local, but I refuse to get screwed over for $200 on the same item.

Tires are the same, $67 out of the US or $120 here. Hmm, I wonder what you would do ? And I bet you would have paid the extra $200 and bought the Shoei from your local dealership right

Yes, I bought my VFX-W from a local dealership. I also work in the industry, and can see the effect that the internet has had. Quality on products has dropped severely, because everyone customer wants to pay very little regardless of the purchase. No one ever mentions or brings up that topic. Also, no one ever responds to this question that I have asked in several other threads on a similar topic. I would like to know some of the jobs/ industries that you guys that buy motorcycle products online work in, as I will ensure that myself and anyone I know refuses to support that industry and makes a real effort to buy overseas, or online, or employ illegal labour.

Perhaps local stealerships should pull their head outta their ass and adjust their pricing accordingly so they can remain competitive with online stores? ? It's their own fault if nobody buys from them, not the consumers.

Personally, I won't even purchase an inner tube from my local dealer.

Back on topic, other than the occasional ebay item, best pricing on oem parts can be found at Honda East Toledo, usually.
