Vortex and grey wire

I got myself a vortex ignition system for my 09 WR450, have not insalled it yet, so should i re-connect the grey wire before i plug the vortex in ?

It should not matter though I'd probably plug it in.

I never plugged the gray wire back in on my old 426 and the Vortex worked great. Your choice I guess. WR Dave

Connected up the vortex, it was realy easy. I decided to put the grey wire pins back into the plug just to be on the safe side of things. The grey wire should not make any difference because the vortex cdi has many different settings.
