rear shock.. what years fit my 06

hey guys im looking to get another rear shock for my 06 yz450 but im only finding like 03 to 05 rear shocks on ebay and other sites.. do the older shocks fit the alum frame or no

theres nothing wrong with mine. i just want another one cuz i lower my bike for the ice everyyear, so im just trying to find other shock so i can keep that one lowerd instead of lowering mine then unlowering it back in the spring.

In that case, you should be able to use an earlier shock, like an '04 or '05 , as your lowered one without a problem as far as I know.

I can swap between my '00 WR400f, '06 YZ450f, and a '01 YZ250 I used to own. there are diferences between lenghts but the answer should be yes, even for recent shocks
