standard sag height on 07 450?

Recommended Posts

Not supposed to be set with the rider off the bike. The suspension should compress 95-100mm from full extension with the rider's weight (in riding gear) on the pegs, measured vertically from the axle to the rear fender, etc.

Once this is set, checking the "static sag", the amount the suspension compresses under the bike's weight with no rider aboard, tells you how close your spring rate is. The measurement should be about 20-30mm. Less means the spring is too soft, and more than that means the spring is stiffer than it should be.
