I bought me one of those tools to remove my old fuel screw so I can install my Merge one, and I turn, and turn, and turn, and the stupid thing won't come out!! It's so bloody frustrating I just can't take it anymore! Anyone know how to get these things out? It's an 08 450...

You just turn it counter clockwise and it unscrews and should fall out. Try tapping on the carb to shake it out.

If that doesn't work, just remove the float bowl, it will come with it.

It' a major pain in the ass to get at the float bowl. I bought this motion pro carb tool because I thought it would make things easier to do. If I have to a whole bunch of other stuff along with it, I might as well have saved myself $30 and the two week wait it took to order the stupid thing, and just left it as is. Seriously, does it get hung up on something or what? I turned it around for like 30 minutes, then tried my wifes old tweezers, and tried to get it out with a small pick...I don't get it, this is so frustrating.

on my carb (fcr 39) i had to remove the bowl. the opening on the bowl is to small for the threaded portion to pass through. after i got it off i drilled the hole out just enough to allow it to pass.

Nevermind...I finally got it. I had to take the back end (subframe) off the bike to get in there. What a pain in the ass!
