01 YZ 426 - Is $5,100 a Good Price ???

Have an opportunity to buy a mildly ridden 01 YZ 426, with "no" after goodies.I think this is a fair price, but would like some feedback if you have the time.

I recvd. a flyer from chicago cycle center, with a grand opening price on a 01 426 of $5200. 1-773-338-7320 they will give you a quote over the phone.

If you want a YZ then buy this one. I'm still seeing '00 YZs advertised for $5k.

You may be able to find a better deal but I seriously doubt it.

I live in Australia and the price I paid was $9200. I wish I could get one for $5100 I hate the Aussie dollar :)

You can get a 2001 at Bardwell's in Brookhaven, Mississippi for $5,175 out the door.

I called Chicago Cycle Center and the total OTD price was 5370.00 or thereabouts. Not bad, but since I'm a stickler for price, I may be calling the southern state of Miss. for a new 426. Thanks for the info guys. I didn't think I was going to get one of these things this cheap.

Im not sure were your from, but out here in the northwest its a fair price. The bike is going to be hard to get the longer you wait. I Know a few guys getting thier bike in Canada for a lot cheaper than the U.S. prices.

This may or may not be a concern to you. If you buy a bike out of state and intend to register it in your local state you may have to pay sales tax. This normaly will bring the price close if you consider shipping.
