There has been rumours of OSSA building an enduro 300 2stroke injected bike , anyone seen heard any more than just rumours? There trials bike looks impressive and would be great to see FI make into the 2 stroke world.

They are working on a 250cc, with a 125 in the pipeline because these are the 2 best selling categories in Europe. 300 have a special tax in some countries.

This is the press note -in spanish- if you're interested: http://solooffroad.s...ossa-suena-bien

Interview with the big boss: http://solooffroad.s...-moto-de-enduro

He says they will unveil it in March or April of 2011.

I'm a Gas Gas guy but this OSSA is so tempting. They menaged to make the trials bike 2 kilograms lighter than the rest of the field, they used an Ohlins TTX as stock and it will be the first fuel injected trail 2 stroke in the market.

You can get the gist at least. In summary, as of now things are going well for them, which is saying a lot in this economy.

Backwards engine ? EFI ? Why do we need the complexity of EFI ? All that does is run the cost of the bike up and makes it harder to work on. I love Ossa bikes but I will stick to my 1972-74 Pioneers and SDRs.
