Well for stand ups, the biggest you will get without spending $15,000+ is an 800cc on the kawi stand up. They aren't for ridding fast, more for jumping/trick.

The older 550 kawi standups always felt like an under powered tooth pick to me. The 650 engine in both kawi and yamaha were a good step up. The 701cc engine was where it was at in the yamaha superjets. Superjets ruled racing for a long time but when the Kawi SXR came out they dominated. The down side is the SXR is wider, longer, and heavier. The superjet comes in at around 300 pounds and has a great power to weight ratio. The SXR is a great machine and will be very fast. For the money the superjet is a good buy for a rec rider.

as above super jet is great , the Kawasaki is a lot easier to ride but its also a lot heavier

the yamaha is a great all around ski im 210 pounds and it has plenty of power .

they are easy to ride but to ride them fast or tricks etc it takes practice at least the water is softer than dirt when you hit it

I have a 750 kawa SXi stand-up, and it feels slow when I get overtaken by people on their colossal supercharged sit-down skis.

Stand ups come in 300, 400, 440, 550, 650, 701, 750, 800 two stroke motors.

The Hydrospace S4 comes with a 110HP Weber. (6k-15k)
The Kawi SXR has a 80hp 2 stroke. (2k-6K)
The Yami SJ has a 70hp 2 stroke. (2k-8k)

As for couches, theyre all big, fast, and boring.

Pretty soon the sucky ass couches will be all we will have.Last year for kaw and Yamaha stand ups because of the fricking EPA and sierra club and the res tof the communist faggots. Unless the pwc industry does something meaning make a ski thats not only affordable and something desirable I will either keep my Wb 1 or be out totally of the sport.16 grand for a couch thats longer then my dakota get the F*Ck out of here.THe yuppies can shove it up the @sses and can keep em.

You can go all the way up to a 1200cc motor in a superjet. Just be ready to write the check.

The B1 and B2 are not as boring as the big fat couches. :smirk:

Also waveblasters and hx's even tho they have seats you can rock em like a stand up.There isnt any affordble great handling skis made anymore in my opinion. Those hydrospace skis are way overpriced for the average joe.
