Mapping, a new clutch push rod and BNG + some minor mods.
You switching to blue HRC?
Also increased fuel tank size from 6 liters to 6.2 liters

Australia obviously has more info than the likes of Canada; they lean heavily toward the BNG.

How did your transission go, going from 2009 CRF450 to 2010 YZ450F ?

What do you feel are the big diffs between the two brands ?

i bought my 2010 and love the bike youd be makeing a great decision switching over. i like it ten times better then my 09 kx. as long as you dont mind changing valve cover gaskets. by the way have they found a fix for that yet.

It was real struggle to make the jump,I went from a 07 crf450 to the 2010 yamaha,
The transission was like INSTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do not think you are ever going to beat the Honda for the best motor on earth but the 2010 yamaha has much better stock suspension,
turns much better ,is as good as the Honda in a straight line,
jumps better ,is more balanced,I love my Yamaha and there are no regrets on making the switch,
I say DO IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!++++++++++++

Possibly.I have modded my valve cover and put a new gasket on it.It seems to be blowing them out every 10-15 hours so we will see if this one lasts.I think it will...

Did you end up removing some material from that bridge? If you happened to take some pictures post them up and let us know how it works out. My friends just blew at 26hrs.

Yea I modded the bridge to allow it to vent.I dont think I took any pics.Basically just drilled a hole in it to allow it to breathe.Not sure if it was the right way to do it but it seems to be working so far.

I imagine that drilling a hole in it will work just the same as using a dremel tool etc to remove the material. If that appears to be the fix then I'm just going to do it when I check my valves leaking or not.
