After a recent motocross track day my friends flywheel side casing on his 2002 426 was hit by a stone, the next morning there was oil on the garage floor. After a close look the center casing cap was removed and oil began to run out . alarmingly he removed the side casin to find it was full of oil. My question is should this oil be there , does the flywheel run in this? If not what would be the suspect problem . Many thanks Beeefin426

Yes, oil belongs there. If he had started the engine first and run it for 60 seconds, there would have been considerably less.
