Hey all.. I am trying to find some info on this bike... I want to know if all years are electric start? the one I am looking at is a 85.. i am looking at it tonight.. original owner, original tires.. no carb, no seat.. has the title but out of the system...$595 OBO..
deal or no deal?

1985 models were kickstart only.
Starting in 1986, it was offered with electric starting (which I owned back in the day, a 1986 BW-200ES).

Personally, unless you simply HAVE to have the bike, $595 for a BW-200N that doesn't run ain't no deal.
That price would be decent for a running bike in good condition.

My opinion on the bike is that it felt very underpowered.
The BW-350T I bought after the 200 was MUCH more like it for me.
It had something that felt like power when you opened the throttle. :)

ok.. well I bought it for 500.. bike is in great shape.. now just to find a seat..
I found a carb online for cheap... the guy is moving and sadi that he will probably find the seat and carb in the house... so I am 90% sure I can get those..

did you ever get all your parts and get the BW together?
