Best price for 2010 yz450f in Washington?

I recently moved to Washington and wanted know if anyone has gotten a good deal on a 2010 450. I am already approved and ready to go, but I want to be able to bargain and get a good deal. Any thoughts?

Western or Eastern Washington?

My wife bought me a 2010 for Fathers day, She called around to a number of dealers in Western Washington and tried to find the best deal. She still ended up paying way more than I would have like (that is why she just went and bought it for me...she knows I am a tight-wad). She probably could have got a better deal if she kept pushing but she wanted me to have it on fathers day. The dealer did a great job pulling it together on short notice and delivering it.

So...the short answer is call around or walk in ready to buy and don't be afraid to walk out. Don't expect to get a 2009 price on a 2010.

Check out Adventure Motorsports in Monroe. It's a great shop that supports the folks that buy bikes from them very very well. Also, the guys in the parts department know what's up and make sure they have their riders covered. It's like having your own pit crew.

I had went to Adventure to look for mine and they didn't have one in stock, didn't know when they were getting one in, nor were they going to fall from MSRP once they did get one in. After becoming annoyed with the saleman trying to sell me a used 2006 for $3500(lay off the crack), a used 2008 WR450, a new RM450 and anything else he had in stock on the floor, I went to Ride Motorsports in Woodinville. From the moment I walked in the door I got treated very well, and saw a white 2010 sitting there, calling my name...as well as a 2008 and 2009 YZ450 for $4k and $4.5k respectively. I eventually chose the 2010, and I still paid MSRP(this was in January), but had a much more pleasant experience than the quick talking saleman at Adventure, and was able to drive away with my new bike that day. All the guys were very laid back and informative, but not pushy, which is the style I like and appreciate. I was just in Ride a couple weeks ago to get some oil/filters and didn't see a 2010 on the lower floor, but imagine they could get one fast enough these days...I would recommend them over the typical used car salesman experience I had at Adventure anyday.

I'm in Texas, so my deal may not relate. FWIW, MSRP was $8,100 and my OTD price was $7,900 (TTL, fees, etc).

The dealer went straight to his bottom price with virtually no haggling from me. I left and tried two other dealerships and the first place was the best price by $250. I went back to the first place and told him I'd buy the bike if he would throw in some aftermarket goodies. It worked, but I only got a skid plate. Saved me $100 and cost the dealer much less than that.

The dealer I just got mine from tried to get me. They had their MSRP @ 8,300 and a sale price of 7,990. OTD price was like 9k maybe a little higher I can't remember. I knew the real MSRP was 7,990 so I just played dumb. I told him I couldn't pay no more than 8k. He came down to 8,360 OTD. I told him I'm gonna got outside and have a smoke. Finally came to 8,100 OTD which I don't think was too bad.

Skagit Powersports in Burlington has one on the floor. They generally make a good deal for serious riders.

I couldn't disagree more but I guess everybody has a different experience.

It was a much different experience than I was expecting as well, and quite dissapointing from all the good reviews and things folks had said. We have since stopped in and got some gloves and other accessories, and there haven't been any issues with the folks there. At the same time though, the parts guys at Ride are just as helpful to pop on the other side of the counter and answer any questions I have.

that $750 is for 2009 & prior years, not for the 2010.

These guys ROCK! Family owned and very personable. I bought a bike from Beaverton Honda in 2005 just because I wanted a Honda, but the service in buying it was not good so it made me question my options when I was able to buy another one. I will buy all my bikes from here on out because of how friendly they are. My 2010 450F out the door with all the fees was $7300. Ask for Ernie, great sales guy!
