Rear Brakes

Hi, I have a 2007 YZ 450 with a rear brake problem. When I step on the pedal (either on the stand or on the track), the brake engages briefly, then all of a sudden loses pressure and the pedal goes to the stop. It does this pretty much all the time. I ruled out a bent rotor and a leak, as there is no fluid coming out. Any ideas? This is driving me crazy!:)

The most likely cause is a problem with the master cylinder. They can be rebuilt if the bore is good.
