gytr flywheel weight unsure about actual weight

i just received a yamaha flywheel weight i ordered from yamaha of troy.i ordered an 9.21 oz.i received a fww with no weight markings on it.the sales receipt says it an 4.9oz.i weighed it on scale.it weighs between 22.88oz-23.04oz.can anyone tell me if this is the 9.21oz?ill call YOT monday,but if it is correct i can install it sooner.any help gray?

i guess you'd have to know what the stock flywheel weighs then subtract that from the fww... :thumbsup: do you happen to have your bike apart yet? if so i'd weigh it and see what it works out to :lol:

i havent removed my stock fww yet as if this isnt the right one ill be sending it back,id rather wait to tear into it when i have the correct fww.

gyt-2s297-50-00,is the part number the sales person said is for the 9.21oz.

There are 2 different versions:

GYT-2S297-50-50 adds 9.21 oz. for an inertia mass of 6.15 kg-cm²

GYT-2S297-50-00 adds 4.83 oz. for an inertia mass of 4.9 kg-cm²

Stock inertia mass=3.8 kg-cm²

Looks like they gave you the lighter one.[/COLOR]
