what year model did the wr change (would an 06' fit?)
aslo am i able to go with and 06-09 YZ450 system.

what would you choose?

Procircuit: T4 or Ti 4 GP system

Yoshimura: RS-2 comp or pro

FMF: factory 4.1 titanium/carbon p/bomb or m bomb

any other alternatives???

I had the Procircuit Ti4 low boy on my '04 WR. Made great power but really too loud and you had to loosen/move the header to change the oil filter. On the '08 I'm running the Factory 4.1 Ti with an 07 YZ headpipe. Good power, still a little loud but not nearly as bad as the PC and the headpipe clears the filter

.
I recommend the YZ system. You can get them cheap off eBay if you watch out.
I've bought two complete YZ450F systems for under $US100 each and one had never even been used!

Work out where you want the power first Robbo!

I had a PC Ti4 lowboy system on my '05. Added heaps of bottom and mid. Had to get hotcams to push the power range back up.
The gytr muffler added heaps of mid and top to my mates '05. That muffler was awesome. So good, I got one for the 250F.

Usually just change muffler for mid - top.

The new pipes now days are quiet. They are made to make the AMA limit of 96db, or 94db? Quiet anyway. My PC blew 103+db. Bloody loud!

I'd just do muffler first.

Right on WR450FGreg!!!

I Just fitted a full 09 YZ exhaust system with a PMB endos tip (for the spark arrestor) on my 08 WR450F. LOVE IT, especially the shorty design!!! Not too loud and really made the bike snappy...more low end grunt. Only spent $240 for everything. Highly recommend it.

I wish that was the case. The current bikes don't get a good header like the '03-'06 bike had. The damn head pipe on the '07-'10 WR is only 38mm in diameter

You've gotta get the header for appropriate gains. Luckily you can get a YZ or performance header off of ebay for a reasonable price all day long.
