Thanks for checking. Yes, the damper axis lines up perfectly with the steering stem axis. The only 'issue' was the necessity of the longer damper link arm (which was included with the Beta mounting kit).
Beta cross reference?

Wish I could read Italian, I'll give Amanda Knox a call! Sorry, bad joke.
I do like the red and green bikes though.
www.getdirtydirtbikes.com has got some neat stuff.
Dont forget these guys, I sure do wish they would look into some more Beta stuff. I talked to Bryan a couple months ago and he helped me with a sprocket. Service could NOT be better with this comany.

I missed seeing these guys and only caught it now..
My buddy with his 2010 Beta 520 will probably like the dirty tricks cam tensioner upgrade

I like this rack too. I use it alot on my 09' RS. These type of racks do not look nice but are super practical and well used in hard trails. The leverage on the bike and solid grabbing points are excellent . I rather use this than a tugger strap by a long shot. The 2010 and up do have a better area to grab by the seat than the 09' though so it may not be needed so much there.

I put one on my bike to lower temps all the way around...in super slow stuff and road on highway etc.. I figured I would be keeping the bike a long time also so it would be worth the expense.
Also has anyone had any experience with this power vane? How does it work? Does it work? What is it supposed to do?....

There are more suspension guys and setups out there... some have shared before in other threads. Please list them if you want. All Beta options are great to add to me. This is all I could remember off the top of my head since I did my cr with racetech and had great results.

You know it's funny . When I first put on the brp Beta 18.5 offsett overall I liked the stock better ..but liked certain aspects in weird places of the brp like turning in single track in tight offcamber single track... but now since I've ridden it a while I like it . How much is just adjusting to the bike and adapting to it's tendencies? It can get confusing comparing settings sometimes. It's like splitting hairs. The more I ride the bike I start going...now how did it feel before now?.. My dealer and friend says just ride the bike and leave t alone. He's pretty much right a lot of the time.

Hawaii I am the crazy one who experimented with the Emig clamps. As a matter of fact i just took them off last week on the 400RR that I am selling and the clamps are sitting in my garage. The 22mm offset IMO made the Beta better if you were using the bike at high speeds. The stock 16mm offset put way to much trail on the front wheel. Great if you are going slow and around tight stuff but not good at 60mph plus. The Emig clamps also came with a Scotts Damper mount that was flat and not at an angle like the BRP I used previously on the stock clamps. As for solid rotor buy one for a 2008 husqvarna four stroke. It will fit perfect.

I bought the KTM SXS 540 kit and put it on a 450RR. You can still get it from KTM no problem. I found mine on Ebay for $450 complete brand new. The kit comes with KTM piston, rings, wrist pin, circlips, big bore cylinder and base/head gaskets. Makes the bike a torque monster and awesome for dual sport or desert riding like baja. Bit of a handful on tight trail.

This does not make sense to me. True, the stock 16mm clamps have more steering trail than in 20 or 22mm clamps. Everything else being equal, the increased trail provides more high speed stability and a 'more planted' feeling at all speeds, not less.

You have that backwards. You are thinking of rake.

Nope, I'm afraid not. Increasing the trail, i.e. by moving the fork tubes closer to the steering axis, increases the steering self-centering effect hence increases stability. Hard to argue against the rules of physics. Although rake and trail are inter-related they are two entirely different concepts.
