I'm in the middle of reviving an 86 CR 500. Should of done before/after pics. Anywho, all new bearing's, long rod kit, .50 over piston. Was thinkng of doing an RPM big bore kit, but how big does a 500 smoker really need to be?  lol :smirk:
The frame is in perfect shape, not a single dent in the cradle tube's. Had it stripped and powder coated Cat Industrial Performance Black. Some research and carefull measurement's, a sealed angular contact bearing($150) and custom spacer installed on a 1993 CR 500 lower triple hold's Factory Connection worked fork's.
I was rolling on this project really good until hour's cut back at work. With the racing season knocking on the door, my 94 rm 125 is stealing the spot light. I will post some CR pics when I get back to the dungeon.

Oh, If anyone know where I can get my PSI Racing pipe repaired, could use the info. Seams to be bent inward and rubbed a hole in it from the subframe bolt.

GREAT RIDE'S Everyone!!!

I had a nice 5 page thread going before the system change erased my posts and profile....

I'm a newbie again according to the new system. :bonk:

So here we go again! Post pics and details please!

Heres mine:

After (Homemade CR500AFC!):

I used the motor out of my 1997.

It has AVS levers, 250X OEM larger tank,
250X 18" rear wheel and thats it for now.

My favorite thing about the old 90's Honda two strokes is the big CR on the shroud. Just so classic...

I'll play:

91 CR500 I recently picked up.  It had been barn stored since 05, fired right up after a carb clean and fresh gas in the tank.  It's getting a dual sport conversion (already in the works).

Here's my 500af on it's way to my first ride with it. Nothing special, home built '02 250 with a '92 500 engine. I've got new rims, a Rekluse Pro-Z, and a bunch of other stuff I plan to add in the near future. I'd been wanting one of these for quite a while
