I had to remove the TPS to get the carb back in afther piston replacement. I put it back in the same as it came out will have have to adjust it like the manual says? or will it have no effect?

Yes, you will have to at least check the adjustment with a volt meter as the manual shows, and more than likely have to adjust it. I'm not sure how you managed to re-install the TPS with the carb in place, but you normally need to remove the carb in order to even reposition it for an adjustment.

It should not have been necessary to dismount it in any case, and for future reference, the best approach is to remove the sub frame and rear shock for access to remove the carb. Doesn't really take as long as it sounds.

I will second that ^^^^.. Takes about 5 minutes max to pull the sub, exhaust and shock. 7 or 8 bolts and a clamp and everything is out of the way.... even makes doing that motor work ten times easier.?
