Anybody up for brown's camp or nearby this Saturday?  The Goldendale 24hr race in Nov looks like fun, but I need a little practice first.  I'm on a 426 and I've ridden the majority of the trails on the east end of the Brown's area.  I'm going to be out there from about noon till late afternoon.

I might be up for it, not quite sure what I have going on just yet, but I will know more by tomorrow.

Right on.  I've got one guy on a old Honda 4x4 4-wheeler so we're not going to be too fast.  we'll be driving a white reg cab F-250 w/ a little trailer so if you can go tomorrow that'd be cool.    Kind of a first time trial run on the 4-wheeler so it could be an adventure.

My girlfriend and I will be heading up there tomorrow.  we will probably be unloading in the Browns camp day use area, will have a Black crew cab chevy dually.....80's vintage.

I went out there last night and it was hot and dusty, ...  but not muddy.  
I've still gotta figure out where the heck the serial number is on a honda fourtrax and get a ohv sticker for it so I don't know when we'll get up there.  I'll look for you around the parking lot.  It'd be fun to chat and see what your favorite trails are and cruize down some to see how fast / slow I am.

I think theyare towards the front suspension on the frame, I wanna say the left side, but it has been ages since I have actually seen where it was.

That sounds about right Tony, that is where it is located on my wife's quad.

Yeah, I went to Beaverton Yamaha and told the lady at the front counter I was just going to make up a number. That ruffled her feathers a little. : )

That was fun Tony, thx for riding with us.  It wasn't too bad out there, a little hot and dusty but the trails weren't too crowded.  I was jumping the gravel pile near browns at the end of the day and was clearing the entire pile.  I kinda crashed a couple times and bent up my bars, but I didn't think I could fly that far.
Glen and I caught up with another guy who talked his way out of a ticket for running the stop sign just outside of the BC parking lot.  Look twice for cars, then for cops, or just stop.

I know the cops up there from working for ODF and as a member of trail patrol, and it is a $177 ticket for running the 3-way stop just outside the camp ground/day use area.

It wasn't bad up there riding, but with all the gear on, and runnin with that new cam, my bike was really heating me up.

I'll have to go up with ya sometime without my girlfriend............we'll be able to cover alot more ground.  She's still learning.

I was impressed though, she rode pretty hard.
Yeah, we're at about the longest day of the year so it doesn't get dark up there till almost 9:30.  Something to take advantage of.    Monday & Tuesday nights I'm sometimes free + Saturday.  I'm moving so I've got boxes to pack until next week, so sometime after that would be good.
