Removing shim's

Sometime back I read a couple of post's but can't find them was wondering if someone could help.One was about shim removal in fork's to soften them and the other was about a helmet mounted video camera with the recorder in a bumbag I think it was made in Australia,any help would be great.

The February issue of Dirt Rider has the helmet-cam on page 124. It is the Actionstar MX Cam. Cost is $695 (if you already have a hand held camera), and you keep the camera in a backpack while the helmet-cam is, well, on your helmet. Actionstar phone number is 408-374-0777.
