clutch won't release

i've got 01 426 and it seems that the clutch will not fully release very hard to get into neutral when running and can't move it (not running)when in gear and the clutch in (also cable adjusted with no diffrence) thanks in advance chris

What the history on your bike? I this a problem that just came up? What kind of ridding do you do? Maybe your basket is real grooved and not allowing plates to move?

Does the bike die when put into gear with clutch "in"? Has the engine been into resantly?

no it does not die, but the worn basket makes alot of sense, thanks. i know what im doing this weekend cheers chris
