has any one down sized a yz450,,if so how did it work ? and cost ?,,this is to much motor for me,, thanks for the input

it doesnt work....you can detune a 450, not trying to be rude, but better off just getting a 250 before you F**k up the bike

There is no point of detuning a 450 in my opinion. I'm sure tons of 250 owners would trade you straight up. You could probably get a 250 with lower hours than your bike...

what year 450F?..there are other options to "tame" these bikes a bit.
