do you use a torgue wrench on you triple clamp pinch bolts?

One time in 4, maybe. Usually not.

If you have any experince at all in mechanics you won't strip it.
If you can put a torque wrench on it why not.it can't hurt.

uh well?? it can hurt it if you got oil and get a false reading. zzzzzzzzziiip!

i always use it on pinch bolts.

careful on that new bike!! sometimes those specs for the pinch bolts are off. very delicate situation....

This is a good point. Unless actually specified, as it is in the case of cam caps and head bolts, all torque specs assume that the threads are clean and dry. Your drain bolt and the hole it screws into will rarely ever be dry, and lubing the threads will increase the tension on the threads by as much as 25% compared to dry threads at any given torque level.

Also, the incorrect use of torque adapters can lead to problems.
