How long are people getting out of their motors on the 450. I use my bike to chase around my young kids on 50s. I just putt around, So my bike doesn't get abused. I change my oil every 4 hours with Mobil 1, and a new filter. The air filter is cleaned ever ride. The bike is stock.
Plus what are some good tire for Eastern trails rock roots etc...

I had over 10,000 miles of single track, dual sport, supermotard, and street riding on my 2003 WR450. Just regular oil changes and 1 valve adjustment is all I ever did.

I now have a 2007 WR450, and after 2 years of riding the valves are still in spec.

Every 4 hours! damn. If I did that I would have to do oil changes mid ride and multiple times a weekend.
