I stuck a small (5mm tall) neodymium magnet to the end of the bolt on my KLR. Cost = 0.50 US
Just ensure it won't rub against the internals.

I've seen those and dont think they are right. They dont make their selves clear on if it fits the 2010 450. Besides the drain plug in the pic looks like the one on my 06 450, the 2010 450 takes an M8x1.25
