Yes and 09. I've noticed the blue 2010's came with black rims in some countries too but obviously not here.

That`s why I have never got colored rims. You can`t stop them from getting tore up.

I recently bought an 07 450 SE. It has the black rims. I just figured it came with them stock. Is this incorrect for an 07?
Thanks Dave

Black rims didnt come on 2007s, the guy you got it from must have put them on there.

I maintain my black rims without too much trouble sure they get a little beat up but when I change a tyre at the track i use the rim guards to prevent and damage, mostly the worst part is the rim wipe area where the tyre rubs up the wall of the rim.
I have run black rims on all my bikes since 1997 and still love them.

If you like a dull finish or want to spend your day polishing between the spokes. Black always looks black and no polishing needed. I've had mine for over a year including tire changes, still looking good.
