what would cause my 08 WR 450 to backfire? It did it when it was new and slow went away. Haven't rode it much this winter. Would the cold cause it?
How do I fix it? I would appreciate any help.

You have to remove the Air Injection System(AIS). I bought the GYTR AIS removal kit for mine

I no longer have backfiring issues. Lotsa info on TT that talks about it. I believe there is a TT AIS removal kit as well.
