00' 426 supercross gearing

Hey:

I'm doing indoor arenacross and the stock

14/19 gearing does not work.

Anyone have any experience with this ??

I run a 51t rear, bike is plenty fast this way and helps on tight tracks. Also keeps it from the 1-2 shift, have gotten neutral a few times.

I run a 50T, but would also recommend a 51 or 52 for arenacross.

I've been running 14/51 on my 426, AX and outdoors, got a ported head and oversize valves so it run better than stock on top, I don't know how it would be with a stock motor outdoors but you should have better luck in AX with that.

I ran only three arena x's this year but i found the best to be the 14/51 combo.

In most hockey rinks you can leave it in 2nd gear all night.

i think 14/19 sounds a bit tall don't you ?

14/19 : that would be good for something like 100mph in 2nd gear. ?

The biggest gear I've run was 15/48, 97mph on a 1/2mi ice track (radar speed).

When I read the post I did saw that as 14/49...
