make sure to include as is, where is. make up 2, get both signed. came back to bite my buddy in the ass when he only wrote one up, the guy lost the motor from mixing the gas wrong and they dropped the bike off at his house with a top end gone. went to court and luckily the guy had to pay for damages. dont make that same mistake!

In WA state "as is" doesn't hold any water legally, if you feel the need for this qualifier make sure it's also in your advertisement and mention any known problems. It's more likely things will go better for you if you go to court.

Office Depot has some good ones, all you have to do is fill in the blanks.

I insert your name sold 1 (one) insert year, make, model serial number to write buyers name on effective date for the sum of insert purchase price.

This vehicle is sold as is with no warranty expressed on implied.

You and him sign at the bottom and date it.
*********************

I've sold dozens of items and never had an issue. This is pretty straight forward and never had anyone balk at buying with this bill of sale.

Make two copies so you each sign both, that way you each have one for your records.
