Hey, My sled's runnin on one cylinder, if i pull the plug out of the cylinder that's not running it pulls over easy and when i put the plug back in it's hard ta pull over again. So i don't think it blown up, prolly just the one carb's froze up, but i was wondering how i would tell,(like spark plug coated with aluminum melt...)
Quick reply appreciated, Thanks

compression check is the best/fastest way to get a read on it. get a tester from your local auto parts store and check each cylinder. Hold it wide open and pull it over a few times and see what it says. then do the other cylinder, they should be over 100 lbs and within about 10 lbs of each other.

Aluminum on the spark plug is a sure sign of a burn down too. but not the only one.

Thanks, i checked once i got it home and they both had 115! I let the carbs thaw out in the shop and put in new plugs and it runs great! I was mostly just wondering what to look for on the trail so i know whether or not to try changin' the plugs or just get towed home:lol:
