Since the 2001' YZ426f valves are titanium do they need to be adjusted as much since they are less likely to stretch? Does anyone have any experences w/2001' valves ...if so were they too tight or too loose? Thanks for your input!

Valve stretch? That's a new one on me. Maybe I'm not as informed as I thought. :)
The valves will almost always get tighter as they wear in since they tend to drive deeper into their seats. It appears that after the first valve adjustment, they require less adjusting as long as the engine is kept in a good state of tune. If you've never had experience with the shims-under-buckets type of valve train, you will learn patience. Getting those cams back in and retimed takes patience and a deft hand. Good luck.
