New member here! Just got a barely used '99 WR400, Ca. street legal. Love it, but wanted to check the spark plug. Found out how deep a hole it sits in. I did not get any tools with the bike so I used what I had and got it out. I read back about what you guys are using. My question is, what do you take on the ride for the plug? Would it be better to purchase the Yamaha tools or take my racket, sockets, swivel, extension, hose, magnet etc. Seems like a lot for a plug check/change. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, HP

Get the Yamaha double jointed spark plug tool that comes with the bike. See your friendly Yamaha dealer and get one its much easier to carry and use.
