Will 09 fender fit an 02 426?

Hey I am selling a 09 front fender(yz250f/450f) on ebay and wanted to know if it will fit an 02 426? I know it is a different shape, but did they change the triple clamp mounts?

you can usually make a front fender fit pretty easily - it's more a question of whether the 09 front plate will fit on the older bike

The number plate locating pins on the bottom clamp and the mounting screw boss on the top clamp are different from those years, so the number plate will not directly interchange.

That woudl be an ok statement to make. The 09 front fender matches up perfectly with the old numberplate used in 02....odd, but true. Ive done it. Fender mounts perfectly.
