Hi,

I have a WR250F (yeah I know this is the WR450F forum but I find the quality of answers much better in this forum), anyhow does anyone know if the combination kill/starter switch for an XT225 is a direct plug in for the on/off switch and starter for my WR? Or will I have to rewire?

Actually, the same question for a YZF kill/starter switch which looks exactly the same.

I don't know but my experience tells me you'll need to sort our the wires. Just look at a wiring diagram for an XT and WR. From there, match the proper wires.

I'd recommend using a soldering iron and heat shrink tubing to make the connections. Also consider cutting the connectors you need off leaving plenty of wire to solder with.
