I just picked up a new 09 YZ450F and was wondering what you guys like for a front tire. I ride strictly MX, mostly intermediate terrain. I've heard that the stock 742 is not good. Any suggestions?

Ive been using the michelin m12 and I like it. The Dunlops are also good. The 745 is killer for intermediat to hard if all you do is mx, doesnt last that long if you toss some enduro stuff.

I guess I hadn't really considered the MX51 because MXA did not like it at all. Not that that means much. :moon: I have been using the Bridgestone 403/404 combo on my KX250F and have been pretty happy with it. How bout the 756? Those are cheap now.

Hi, unfortunately Dunlop drop the 756 Race Replica tires. I used one on the front of my 2006 YZ450 and it did help the push. Now it's worn, and I can't get one. Sounds like the guys like the MX51, I'll probably try one. Good luck.
