Dude..nice photo shop job! everybody know you cant air out anything made before 2000 those bike are like 10 years old...and the one in your picture is more like 30 years..

Great shot...I have a great picture of me on my 1979 montesa somewhere I'll scan it in:thumbsup:

In 1979-1980, less suspension, just = more jolt on landing.  We still got a bit of air, even in the old daze...good guess, exactly 30 years ago ('79 YZ250).  This picture's frame was actually a bit too early in the sequence, my "trick" was a very simplistic, ugly nac-nac, without the grace and look back that McGrath made perfect.:moon:

Please no comment on the "no helmet," I was even MORE stupid back then.

All I can say is wow! That was back when the sport was a true "tough guy" sport. Not knocking today's sport, but we could use a return back to the way things were before all energy drink bullcrap, and snobby moto-kids. I remember dreaming as a kid what it would be like to go out west and see Hannah battle team red.

One question though...was the dude streaking necessary? lol

Cut and paste old school .... my handy photog work, but this angle shows the log that Carl jumps in the 1st thread of this subject.
And yes he is in the air in each jump, there was even a 5th different jump shot, but I couldn't cut it in with these.

Clear creek looked like an awesome place to ride. Was it featured in Terrafirma 4 with Mike Metzger?

Don't know the answer to that but Clear Creek has been closed for more than a year now. Its really sad because it really was a great, great place to ride.

This is a picture at Clear Creek during the Wild Bore Enduro, shows some of the play hills in the background. (stole this pic from a great thread by Huskychuck, titled "pics from the good ol days"..) you can find that thread in the husky 4stroke forum

1985 VCGP Nevada, It seems that the 20 rows of 10 racers per row, roosted dirt back onto the paved start/straight-away-first turn, and trying to late-brake some competitors, many racers hit the ground.

Another at VCGP 1984

http://Posted Image

This is what the start looks like after 200 racers (20rows) have already left the start. They have about 500 riders each day, (sat and sun), The checkers comes out in 4 hours, but you'll probably will race for about 5 hrs to the finish.
