thank you soo much for sharing these great pics and stories. Now I need to go find the pics of me on my 1975 XR75 with the ol DG pipe at Saddleback. I learned to ride my first bike there on the old flat track in 1976. I was 4 yrs old.

Thanks joe, I raced "Scrambles" as they called it, kinda flattrack TT, with left turns and right turns and an infield jump. At the Fremont Raceway (Bay Lands Raceway, 75'76'77')... Taught me how to ride (race) at close quarters, to "dice" in other words. This is a "Big Time" Bill Spencer photo.

About three quarters the way up Tractor Way, Nick got around these two riders but couldn't make the steep dog-leg turn just past the stopped riders.

At Stonyford, some of hillclimbs go for miles. Hornets Nest Trail, below, has some long climbs.

This picture was taken during the Quicksilver National Enduro in Clear Creek's Larious Lip area. I'm pulling a wheelie over a rut (hidden) that some hillclimber priviously spun his\her rear wheel trying to climb this ledge at the top of the climb.

In the picture below you can see "Larious lip" at the top of this huge half bowl mountain. Up there is where the above pic was taken.

These are awesome, thanks for sharing.
Came across a few old treasures, here's one:
Honda Hills circa 1979, when Dick Klamfoth still owned the place.  I always wondered how noisy the roost was to workers inside the scorer's shed in the background.:ride:

I remember those pics, the first one is the test of the ATK 250 about '88, the second I think is a Cagiva about '87 and the last one I beleive was the test of the '83 CR250 with Hannah riding, that was the year he jumped from Yamaha to Honda. I had one of those '88 ATK 250's, I bought it with the engine in pieces, lost interest after a couple months and sold it for a profit. Good memories. Lovin' all the old pics.
Here's one from '82, and yes, that's a Members Only jacket.

And me just trying to do a dirt roost before loading the bike up to leave. I never rode without a helmet, although this picture does sort of prove me a liar in this case.

You are giving me flashbacks! :ride:

Hey HodieRacer, thats Terry Cunningham (former enduro champ) Husqvarna factory guy (notice his outfit colors), and he's riding a Cagiva, in the desert.

Yes, '87 is about right because Husky was being bought by the owners of Cagiva about that time and I belive this picture (of Terry), is at an actual Desert race.
p.s. I really liked that ATK picture, White helmet, chest protecetor & plastic- blue frame, boots and jersey to match, and it looks like he just appeared from nowhere.
